i got bit! ... by the actions bug. since i got this one so right, i wanted to do it again .. just to see if i really got it right... so i took on the quotes site.
the quotes site is just the full collection of all the quotes that the quotes bot posts. I originally had two versions - a python version and this javascript version ... but ... this little project was too tiny for a python site so it's just this one that's online now.
anyway, i made it a few years ago ... probably before my eye sight started going bad (and before i really became aware of the proper way to accessibility a site) and so there was no dark theme. but after seeing how easy it was to do this site, i had to try it again... just a couple lines in the stylesheet and !blam! i had a new dark theme.
bonus ... i get to write another [gitea action script] ... which is really dirty easy but ... ya know? cos reasons.
oh - i should probably note that last night the baby husky caught and killed a skunk in the back yard ... but not before getting thoroughly sprayed. i think i maybe slept 2 hours .. if that. i am exhausted, nauseated ... everything smells like skunk, and this uti is kicking my ass. i feel like utter shit right now ... so small victories help ... lots.
