back to peilcan because reasons

it's less than a week, and i already changed my mind again. hugo is all nice and good but ... i still have some really bad pelican muscle-memory ... which meant that writing a post (and publishing it) was far more work than i had wanted in the first place ... so instead of blogging ... these last few days ... i have been working on making a dark mode for this theme which ... i actually like very much.

i don't even clearly remember the problem i ran into before ... i think it had to to with how i was going to process posts made from bed or the recliner on bad days ... (disability accomodations is part of my everyday life now) and i just couldn't find an easy way to do that with hugo. with pelican, i can use post-receive hooks to trigger a pythin environment build and push. that i know how to do easily.

anyway ... i am tired, and itchy, and feverish ... so i am going to leave it here and try and publish over that hugo blog. hopefully i will have more spoons to blog tomorrow or sunday ... since hubster invited friends over for burgers and whatnot tomorrow ... goddess help me, but i have a ton of tidying up to do before then ...
